Kathleen A. Penland

Kathleen Penland was a founding partner in the law firm of Penland & Hartwell. As head of the corporate practice group, she was experienced in advising associations on all aspects of corporate matters, including contract review, corporate governance, financing and special assessments, document interpretation and all other aspects of association administration.

Kathleen was one of the principal lawyers in developing and contributing to community association law in Illinois and was respected by her colleagues and beloved by her clients.  It was our great privilege to have worked with Kathy.
