October 13, 2011:
Kelly C. Elmore is a guest panelist at the Chicago Bar Association's Young Lawyer's Section Real Estate Seminar entitled "Short Sale Topics:  Residential Transactions, a Condominium Association Perspective, and Real Estate Tax Matters" from 9a.m.-12p.m.  Ms. Elmore will discuss the short sale transaction from a condominium association perspective.  This presentation will focus on the steps involved in the short sale transaction process, considerations for condominium associations to review when addressing a short sale transaction and tips for real estate practitioners when handling a real estate transaction that involves a short sale.  Additional topics that will be addressed by panelists during the seminar include:  contract provisions for seller and buyer protection, documents to submit to a lender during the real estate transaction, how to build a preliminary HUD-1 and examples of what lenders will approve, pitfalls to avoid and the impact of bankruptcy in today's real estate market.  To register, please log on to http://www.chicagobar.org/.

Elmore is presenting a seminar entitled "Foreclosure Accounting" for property management company, Wolin-Levin, Inc.  Ms. Elmore is discussing the topic of how to adjust accounting following a foreclosure sale and how to collect six months of unpaid assessments, legal fees and late fees.  The presentation will include real examples and a question and answer session.
